What happened to November?

Rio does not mind sharing anything with her brother and sister, she never minds when they jump into her crib with her, or they want to use her blanket. It is so wonderful how Rio loves Cruz and Sol, she wants to show them everything and she always wants them around.
Rio Olivia, so much fun in the leaves. Rio helped Cho Choo rake up all the leaves and then had a blast playing in them, she wanted so bad to bring the leaves home with her, (we almost packed them up in plastic bags, but then I thought that was a bit much.)
Cruz Andres, such a sweet baby boy.
Sol Sophia, angle baby.
Jeffrey and I could never be convinced that there could be anything more beautiful than these precious bundles of joy.

Two Pumpkins and a Elephant

What does the elephant say?
Trick or Treat!
Rio got really good and loud at saying "trick or treat." She thought it was so fun that everyone was sharing their candy with her, and when we go out for a walk she wants to trick or treat. again.
Sweet patas...
Proud Daddy with his hands full.
Out for another stroll, this is becoming a daily ritual. After Rio's nap and Cruz and Sol eat we go out for a little fresh air, we also get the mail. Cruz and Sol are really growing and now they are a bit squished in the single stroller. Time to buy the double. Both babies now weigh 8# even, as of today.

Our Little Angles

Three sleeping beauties.
Finally at home together. These two little bundles love to be together so much. If we have them laying side by side you will notice them gradually get closer and closer. When they have tummy time they will slither closer to each other untill their heads are side by side. Sometimes while sleeping in this Moses basket we will look in and it looks like one baby is kissing the other on the nose, and when they get hungry, which is at the exact same time, they try to eat each others hands. It is just so much fun to have 3 kids, we are having the time of our life, and they are all so well behaved.
Out for our first walk, to the mail box and home again. We have not gotten a double stroller yet but Cruz and Sol did not mind sharing their seat. Rio rode her tricycle to the mail box and then decided that she would rather push the babies in the stroller all the way home. Jeffrey had to push the trike with no one in it and I had Rio right in front of me helping me get everyone home.
Big Sister. Rio always wants to hold a baby or both babies and she is always checking on Cruz and Sol for us. She never forgets to say, "good morning Cruz Sol," and these two little ones get tons of kisses from their big sister, they are so lucky to have a sister like her.
Us trying to use the timer on the camera, we will get a better family picture up soon.

From Three to Five

Our new additions made their arival on September 28. My water broke on the 27th around 9pm and my Mom took me to the hospital while Jaime stayed at the house with Rio. I called Jeffrey and he started driving home from Winslow. When I got to the hospital they confirmed that my water had broken and I got a steroid shot and some medicine to try to slow down labor because I was only 33 weeks along. The doctor came in to do a ultrasound and found that Sol did not have her head completly down and Cruz was way up on top and looking like he didn't want to turn head down. After checking me and finding that I was 4cm dialated they broke the news that I was going to have to have a csection. I asked, "when?" and the surgeon said, "in about half and hour." This was something I never wanted and we were so scared because the babies were comming so early. Sol came first at 6:15am and she let out a little tiny cry then at 6:17am Cruz made his arival and let us all know he was in the room. They took the babies into another room and before they were wisked off to the NICU we got to say hello and give a little kiss. Jeffrey went with the babies while the surgeons finished with me.

(right) Sol Sophia Romero 5lbs 5oz 18 1/4 inches
I do not believe that I had 11 pounds of baby in me. Cruz spent 7 days in the NICU and Sol spent 12 days there. This was the hardest thing ever to have babies in the hospital and our little Rio at home with Granna and Cho Choo. Everything turned out great and we learned a lot from the wonderful staff at the NICU, it was hard to leave the babies every day, but to know they were in such gentle and caring hands made it easier.

First family picture with all five of us. Rio loves being a big sister and she loves to kiss the babies and check on them for us. She is also a big help to have around. She is so conscience of everyone washing their hands before they touch the babies, she even reminds us.

So sleepy. So far these babies sleep, eat and poop. They are so good and they really don't cry just grunt every 3 to 4 hours to let us know it is time to eat. We love having everyone at home and healthy.

Rio at the Balloon Fiesta. Her Auntie Kristi took her, they were early birds up at 4:00am so they wouldn't miss anything. Rio had a blast.

September Is Already Here!!

Rio being the little cutie she always is.

We went to Costco and I rode around in the scooter, I am on modified bedrest so we thought this would be alright. Don't tell our doctors. It was such a thrill to be out and about and yes there were tons of samples so that is always a fun time. I did keep stoping in the wrong place and creating trafic jams, I also almost took out a whole stack of tonka trucks but I had a wonderful time.

One of the last days I was able to hold Rio. This is at the Belen Fiestas we were in line for a fiesta burger.

Rio being safe eating her lunch.

Ethan and Rio sharing a afternoon snack.

Belly at 30 weeks, where is Rio? She fits right under my belly so sometimes I lose track of her.

Jeffrey and Rio at Gymboree. Rio is driving the school bus.

Jeffrey and Eve in Las Vegas

Out seeing the sights.
Nice belly, I wish everyone who made a comment about me being pregnant or asked me questions would of given us $5, we would of come home winners. It was so much fun to see peoples faces when I would tell them I still had 3 months to go, then I would explain about the twins and they all wished me well. I got so many complements that I think I must look better pregnant than not.

Out at the Euro-pool, no I did not go topless but I was very tempted. Jeffrey and I had so much fun in Las Vegas. We stayed at the Wynn and ate, relaxed and gambled it was nice to spend so much time together. We really missed our little Rio but she was at Granna and Cho Choo's house having a blast.

Yes, we even made it to a night club, Tryst, and instead of them not letting in pregnant ladies they moved us to the front of the line and treated us like VIPs. It was so much fun.

22 Weeks

Sometimes I still can't believe we are having twins, and then I look at my belly. Lots of people think that I am due any day, we still have 3 1/2 months to go. The babies are moving around so much. Rio is getting used to saying brother and sister and she really gets that there are two babies in there. Rio is now potty trained and she can count to 10 among lots of other talents, she is such a good girl and she really loves to talk and get her point across.

Big Girl

At the park!!

Panties, ring, bracelet, necklace, and earrings.

Rio and Jeffrey, she loves her Daddy!!

This is going to be so much fun, and it is supper easy!! Everyone should do it, Hint Hint.

Learning to create blog

I am trying to learn how to create a blog for our family so that we can share our pictures and thoughts with our friends and family. I want to get good at this before our new twins make their apperance so I can quickly post pictures and stories. I really need to figure out the picture part. This seems eazy enough. This is a picture of us on our first ride on the Rail Runner back in April. Now I need to get our new pictures up.
